This is your opportunity to get involved in ENA! There are several committees that may be of interest to you and we would love your help. Each committee has a Chairperson, who is appointed by the State President, and is responsible for reporting to the State Council the events of the committee. Injury Prevention- Mission of Injury Prevention Programs at ENA: To reduce injury- and violence-related morbidity and mortality by developing, promoting, evaluating and disseminating injury and violence prevention programs for emergency health care professionals and the community. The committee chair is responsible for tracking injury prevention programs, reporting to State and National ENA and educating members on the programs available through ENA. (Examples include - Choices for living: Alcohol Prevention, Stand Strong for Life: A Fall Prevention Program,

Take CARE I - Safe Medication Use and Falls Prevention for Mature Adults, Child Passenger Safety, Bike Safety and many more)

Pediatric Committee - is the designated committee with the responsibility of serving as a pediatric resource on the state level by monitoring pediatric issues and assisting with the organization and implementation of ENPC.

Trauma Committee - The Trauma Committee is the designated committee with the responsibility of serving as a trauma resource on the state level by monitoring trauma issues and assisting with the organization and implementation of TNCC.

Government Affairs - ENA's government relations programs are designed to:  Advocate quality patient care and represents the interests and concerns of emergency care nursing professionals and facilitate broad member participation. The committee chair is responsible for informing members, other organizations, government officials, and the media about ENA's public policy concerns.

Membership – Responsibility and over site of membership roster and maintaining and recruitment of new members

Newsletter/Web Page – Responsible for designing, editing and distributing quarterly newsletters well as maintenance of the web page.
